Donate to Sponsor a Hero (current patient or Lerner School for Autism student) to give them a chance to participate in the 1 Mile Walk or Kids Fun Dash in the 11th Annual Helping Hands Hero Race at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Saturday, August 22.
$30 Donation - Allows one (1) patient and one (1) caregiver to participate in the 1 Mile Walk and enjoy the zoo for the day
$25 Donation - Allows one (1) patient to participate in the Kids Fun Dash and have one (1) parent present. This also allows one (1) patient and one (1) caregiver access to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for the remainder of the day.
$20 Donation - Allows one inpatient who is unable to leave the hospital to attend a special event held on Friday, August 21st at the Children's Rehab Hospital.
Each race entry gives the patient and one (1) caregiver access to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for the remainder of the day.
About Rehab Runners
Rehab Runners is a group at the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation that fundraises throughout the year for our Helping Hands Fund. This fund helps provide current inpatients and outpatients with various items and equipment that insurance typically does not cover and items a family may not be able to afford.
Items such as (but not limited to) carseats, compression vests, high chairs, strollers, adaptive bathing equipment, wheelchair ramp rents, equipment co-pays and food for the holidays, etc. have been provided.
